Fantuzzi is among the several makers of Straddle Carriers that offer 3 separate drive systems. This specific feature allows the model to be modified to individual customer service resource and environments. The TWS Model is equipped with cardan shafts and mechanical power transmission. The HSW Model provides hydro-static powered transmission with hydraulic pumps and motor. The electric motors and generators provide electrical power transmission to the ESW Model.



For more that 40 years, Fantuzzi has been engineering and making lift truck models in a huge range of sizes and shapes. The initial sideloader that was introduced were the 40 ton container handling sideloader. Even 40 years later, we still make these sideloader units. Two of these specific machines were just delivered to Southampton. Fantuzzi also manufactures a huge variety of this model, starting from 3 ton.
