End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible machine and is popular in the material handling business. These machinery have superior performance characteristics that are quite like sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space needed to use these machines are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These equipment are an excellent alternative for applications which require frequent off and on access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by a variety of businesses that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a way that is both safe and efficient.
All standard reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The forks also include a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
