Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of forklifts, presses, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
The company began crane production during the year 1963. Over time, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
